Effective date: June 2026
By downloading or using SkipKey, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and the developers of SkipKey.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SkipKey on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the app or any part of it.
SkipKey is designed for personal productivity — dictating text into apps on your iPhone. You agree to use SkipKey only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
You must not use SkipKey to:
SkipKey offers an optional feature that sends transcripts to a third-party AI provider using an API key you supply. You are responsible for your use of that provider and for any costs incurred. We are not responsible for the third party's availability, accuracy, or data practices.
SkipKey and its content — including the name, icon, and design — are owned by the developers of SkipKey. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
Any content you dictate using SkipKey remains yours. We make no claim to your transcripts or recordings.
SkipKey is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accurate in all cases. Speech recognition, particularly for less common languages or accents, may produce errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, SkipKey — including loss of data or missed text insertions.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
We may update, change, or discontinue SkipKey at any time without notice. We are not obligated to provide updates, support, or continued access to the app.
Your use of SkipKey is also subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service. Apple is not a party to these terms and bears no responsibility for the app or its content.
We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use of SkipKey after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
